Fitness Coordinator

Job Summary
Assist the Fitness Manager in planning, developing, and implementing the activities of the group fitness programs and the fee based fitness programs (Boot Camp, TRX, Rowing, Bar, Personal Training, etc.)  This position will provide supervision and training of the group exercise and personal training staff performance, ensuring that the mission of The Salvation Army is a top priority in all areas and activities.  Assist the Program Manager to ensure program operations are in compliance with established departmental policies and procedures and all programs are safe, expectations for classes and client services are set and met, and fitness equipment is properly maintained.  Duties will also include working closely with the Fitness Manager in developing programs for the TSARJKCCC based upon ongoing needs assessment and business plan.

Qualifications
Four Year Degree in related field and three years of experience supervising a fitness program, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Camp Program Aide

Job Summary
Executes planned activities for participants, which may include Day Camp Program, after-school programs, and recreational classes; provides oversight of the activity areas as needed; make suggestions for planned recreational activities and play time; maintains program records, i.e. attendance records, parent sign in and out log; maintains cleanliness and orderliness of Kroc Center Property

Summer Camp Program Aide is an hourly position, which may be designed part-time, or as-needed.  Hours may vary.

 Qualifications
High school diploma or G.E.D. required; experience working with children, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.  First Aid/ CPR/ AED certification.

Ensure that the aquatic operations are in compliance with established departmental policies and procedures.

Aquatic Lifeguard is an hourly position, which may be designed part-time, or as-needed.  Hours may vary.

 Qualifications
Possession of current certificates in American Red Cross First Aid or First Aid for Public Safety Personnel (Title22) or above; CPR for the Professional Rescuer (CPR Pro) and Lifeguard Training required. Equivalent training certificates may be accepted. Applicant must provide proof of certification.

Ensure that the Child Care operations are in compliance with established departmental policies and procedures. Provides child care services for children including personal care, hygiene, learning and development activities and specialized programs; prepares and maintains records; maintains cleanliness and orderliness of child care property.

Child Watch Worker is an hourly position, which may be designed part-time, or as-needed.  Hours may vary.

Qualifications
High school diploma or G.E.D. required, and two years’ experience in child development programs in a church or pre-school, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities

Lead Child Watch Worker

Job Summary
Assist in planning, development, and overseeing activities in the Child Watch area. Provide reinforcement of training and general leadership during assigned shifts. Perform any necessary administrative duties. Ensure that the Child Watch operations are in compliance with established departmental policies and procedures. Provide child care services for children ages 3 months to12 years including; assisting children with personal care and hygiene, developing learning and development activities, assisting with specialized programs; prepare and maintain records; maintain cleanliness and orderliness of child care property.

Lead Child Watch Worker is an hourly position.  Hours may vary.

Qualifications
High school diploma or G.E.D. required; some college, or working towards a four year degree; and two years’ experience in teaching child development programs in a church or pre-school, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
