All volunteers are asked to make a 3 month commitment to The Salvation Army Kroc Center. When applying, please consider the time required of this position carefully. Volunteers must be 16 years or older and are asked to commit to the full duration of their position. All volunteer descriptions are listed below.

Aquatics volunteers assist with day to day questions about classes and programs offered at the pool. Keep aquatics desk organized and make copies of program schedules, etc. Provide assistance for birthday parties and special events. Oversee children and adults using the splash pads and slide.
Volunteers help cultivate a positive and creative environment, facilitate lessons and activities. Assist behind the scenes with lights, sound, and construction setup. During performances volunteers will help with ushering, concessions, will call, and box office. Prior to events, volunteers will hang flyers, help with the set, and sale tickets. Art volunteers will also assist with preparation, clean up and maintaining of the classrooms during summer camps.
The Challenge area is looking for volunteer coaches and rescue training volunteers to help lead groups of 6-8 participants through team building exercises, and physical and mental challenges.
Fitness volunteers assist with the operation and implementation of Health, Wellness, and Fitness programs provided by The Salvation Army Kroc Center. Volunteers will help instruct members in the proper way to use equipment, assist with cleaning and wiping down of cardio/weight machines and monitoring check-in desk.
Member Services volunteers greet Kroc Center members and guest as they are entering and exiting our facility. Provides general information about The Salvation Army Kroc Center operations and services while performing routine clerical work. Create an exceptional customer and member experience and secure day to day operations at the Kroc Center.
Older Adult volunteers assist the instructor and participants in a range of activities from sculpting, swimming, and bridge. Older Adult Assistances are responsible for setup and breakdown of any materials and supplies used during classes
Volunteers will encourage a connection with God and others through open and exciting worship opportunities. Volunteers will assist with Youth Scout activities, VBS, Women, Men, and Teen Ministry programs. Volunteers will also facilitate worship activities and assist with the preparation and clean-up of worship events.
