Experiential Learning Obstacle Course
Experiential Education is a process that occurs between a teacher and student that infuses direct experience with the learning environment and content.
Experiential Education benefits:
- Presenting academic content experientially enhances comprehension and retention. It also increases self-confidence.
- Students can draw valid and meaningful conclusions from their own experiences.
- Students can more easily personalize the subject matter while engaging in experience.
Instead of a ropes course that loses effectiveness each time a student uses it, the Kroc Center's obstacle course is made of a series of themed rooms, giving users a new, fresh experience every time they visit.
