With the steel girders of the Kroc Center Memphis now framing autumn sunrises, Salvation Army Area Commander Major Mark Woodcock thinks about new challenges when the $24 million facility opens late next year.
“Once we were able to accomplish the fundraising and put it out for bid and get construction started, it became very sobering,” Woodcock said.
“The clock has now officially started.”
